As soon as we discovered him we knew Australian Eclipse star Xavier Samuel was a catch, and it seems the ladies overseas have cottoned on, too!

Xavier’s good looks and down to earth attitude have scored him more than a role in the Twilight saga – he’s also won the heart of former Miss Europe Shermine Shahrivar. No doubt his charming Australian accent had something to do with it to!

Mr Samuel appeared at several events in New York City last week, with Shermine on his arm at every opportunity.

And his ‘check out my hot chick’ campaign continued over to the west coast, flaunting his European bveauty at a cocktail party at the Louis Vuitton store in Beverly Hills.

Note what appear to be fang marks on Shermine's left arm - she really must have a thing for vampires?

We’d like to see him with an Aussie girl, but Xavier and Shermine do make a cute couple.
