Katy Perry was glowing on the red carpet at the Met Gala – literally!

Miss Perry wore a frock with LED lights sown inside, that she set off intermittently throughout the night.

Since Lady Gaga was not in attendance, someone needed to spice things up!

"I feel like I really have to represent those girls that just go for it and do their own thing and, you know, have their own bit of spontaneity and self confidence," Katy said.

"I think sometimes in fashion it can get a little stuffy so I wanted to lighten up!"
