No one has noticed the pain behind those eyes, Nor the depression and endless tears.
Sometimes she thinks she's crazy,
And that she only creates her own fears.
She thinks her life is a fairy-tale,
But knows otherwise.
She tries her hardest to be normal,
But her dreams are a bigger size.
Her whole life she has grown to believe, That she'll have her fairy-tale.
But deep down she knows,
Her dream is going to fail.
She's now learning to not dream her fairy-tale, For she expected too much romance.
The fairy-tale romance she learnt were only real in dreams, She knows she'll never get that perfect dance.
You know the one with the perfect ending, Where they stare into each others eyes.
Then passionately kiss,
It brought a tear to her eye.
She's learnt to keep low expectations,
Otherwise she'll only be dissappointed,
And so she doesn't end up losing,
Her perfect fairy-tale man.
