Jake has been on our screens since he was seven years old. In 2004 he became the voice of Dora the Explorer's adventurous cousin Diego, earning himself a spin off titled Go, Diego, Go! Not bad for a 10-year-old...
After a series of minor roles in movies, Jake eventually landed the role of Max in The Wizards of Waverly Place which debuted in October 2007. From this role onwards, Jake's Hollywood presence was unstoppable!
This year is an exciting one for Jake, with Wizards of Waverly Place wrapping up its final series. Although he is sad about leaving the show, Jake is excited about his next projects — and he has plenty of those lined up!
If you've recently checked out New Year's Eve in cinemas, you might also recognise him from a certain scene with Abigail Breslin — um so cute! And his talent doesn't stop there! This hottie has also recently written (and sold!) his first screenplay titled Kings of Suburbia .
Like his career and looks aren't enough to make us swoon, Jake is also fluent in Spanish, *sigh*. Currently living between Los Angeles and New York with his parents, younger sister Ava and two dogs Bogey and Beju, Jake also keeps up school at home during his time off.
Between all his movie roles and school, Jake still finds time to contribute to various charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and The Starlight Foundation, both of which aim at helping chronic ill kids.
