Dear DOLLY DR,
"I’ve realised that my body has started to change, but I’m not sure if this is right... I have hairy toes, well actually in between my toes. I asked all of my friends if they had the same issue, but they all gave me a weird look and now won’t talk to me. What if the hair starts to spread upwards onto my foot? Also now that it's summer I’m ashamed of wearing flip flops and going to the beach. Help me please, what can I do to stop the hair from growing?"

Hmmm, I'm not quite sure what to make of this… yes when your body changes you get more hair on your face and body, including sometimes a little bit on the top of your feet and toes. But right in between your toes is, well, a little unusual, although it’s excuse not to talk to you! Seems that your friends are the weird ones.
Anyway, if you really do mean that hair is growing from the ‘web-like’ skin in between your toes then I would pop into your doctor’s and ask her to have a quick look. If you do happen to have excessive hair then your doctor will be able to check you out for things like a hormone imbalance and give you advice about how to stop it from growing. You can remove hair from the feet, but it might require waxing or using depilatory cream, as shaving near the toes is a bit tricky.
